Jester House
Established in 1991 as the first country café in the Tasman district, the Jester House café has become a much loved coffee and lunch stop.
Once you walk over the trip trop bridge past the tame eels you enter another world. The fantastic café garden is full of art and surprises.

Cafe
The café is open daily in the summer season (October till April) from 9.00am until 5.00pm. In winter it's open Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am until 4.30pm. Serve breakfast, lunch and in betweens. There are delicious baked cakes, slices and scones. For lunch there is a blackboard menu, which is all fresh and homemade. Specialties include our own hot smoked fish and platters to share. There's also food for kids.

Tame Eels
The tame eels live in the creek below the bridge waiting to be fed. Eel food is available from the café, $5 for the real eel deal. Get up close and personal with these charismatic megafauna as they squirm out of the water to take the food you offer from your stick.
